Farmfest! Friday October 7th

Farmfest! Local Food Celebration is taking place Friday October 7th from 1 to 5pm on the Old Main Quad on the SUNY New Paltz Campus.

Part of the first Village of New Paltz Local Food Week, Farmfest will be a day of free local food, live music, education & fundraising for the Gardens for Nutrition and New Paltz Flood Aid.

Students for Sustainable Agriculture are going to raise the question of access to more local food on campus for everyone, and provide helpful information & resources on why local food is important and where students can find local food. The Environmental Task Force will set up a letter writing station for students to learn the facts about having more local food on campus and start a dialogue between students and administration regarding better access to local food
